Every where you look there are plastic bags in gutters or flying through the air, aluminum cans crushed in parking lots, and fast food packaging along the road-side. Do you take a second look at these items? What do you think of when you see these? If you have ever considered that these behaviors and these items could cause issues in the world, whether it is pollution or having an environmental impact, your thought is where mine is.
If you read or hear anything about the environment, you understand the severity of acting on some of those thoughts. From plastic bags being caught in the ocean, styrofoam never breaking down into the earth, landfills closing at phenomenal rates and the coast lines shrinking; something has to be done.
There are things you can do that are not radical or monumental changes. It starts with you. You can make the choice to do something. You do not have to join an activist group or recycling brigade, all you have to do is something.
There are ways you can do something while having a bit of fun too. There are ways to save money while making greener choices. Making environmentally “good choices” can be very easy too. I like easy. Having easy, simple and fun ways to make a difference in the environment is great start. I hope you enjoy this site. Please let me know if you find something useful or the one thing you can do to make a difference.
How wonderful it is that nobody need wait a single minute before starting to improve the world. ~ Anne Frank ~
Find one thing that you could do. Start small. It all changes with one act at a time.
“The dogmas of the quiet past, are inadequate to the stormy present. The occasion is piled high with difficulty, and we must arise — with the occasion. As our case is new, so we must think anew and act anew. We must disenthrall ourselves, and then we shall save our country.” ~Abraham Lincoln, December 1, 1862 in Message to Congress
